徐家駒,低音管演奏家。1949 年出生於浙江省定海縣。畢業於國立臺灣藝術專科學校管樂組、德國德特摩國立西北德音樂學院,主修低音管。歷任臺北市立交響樂團低音管首席、副團長與團長,並參與室內樂演出如臺北木管五重奏、臺北獨奏家室內樂團、徐家駒低音管室內樂團等。編寫低音管合奏教材、出版《低音管指法研究》,名列華人低音管經典教材,對低音管之推廣貢獻甚多。目前為國立臺灣師範大學、東吳大學、輔仁大學、真理大學等音樂系兼任教授。
Hsu Chia-chu, born in 1949 in Dinghai, Zhejiang, is a bassoonist. Hsu graduated with major in wind instruments from National Taiwan College of Arts, and bassoon-major from Detmold-Musik übertragung, Germany. Hsu had worked as lead bassoon, Vice-director and Director of Taipei Symphony Orchestra as well as a member of Taipei Woodwind Quintet, Taipei Soloist Ensemble, and Hsu Gia-gu Bassoon Ensemble. Hsu has compiled teaching materials for bassoon ensemble, of which Studies on Finger Exercises in Bassoon is regarded as a classical Bassoon teaching material for the Chinese. Hence his significant contributions to promoting Bassoon music. Currently, Hsu is an adjunct professor in the Department of Music of National Taiwan Normal University, Soochow University, Fu Jen Catholic University, and Aletheia University.
