陳明律,聲樂家、音樂教育家;1932 年 1 月出生於廣東省中山縣。15 歲隨聲樂家林秋錦學習聲樂,1950 年考入國立臺灣師範大學音樂系,其後以第一名畢業並受聘於省交擔任女高音及歌唱指導。24 歲起回母校長年執教。其歌唱特色為花腔自由的運用,後又許多作品提獻給陳明律,如《葉羅麗》、《一朵小花》等。退休後,錄製多張唱片,留下許多動人美聲。
CHEN Ming-Lü is a vocal performer and music educator. She was born in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province in January 1932. At the age of 15, she began studying vocal music with Lin Chiu-chin. National Taiwan Normal University's music department matriculated Chen in 1950. She graduated with top honors and subsequently served as a soprano and vocal coach for the Taiwan Provincial Symphony. At the age of 24, she began what would become a long and illustrious career as a professor at her alma mater NTNU. She is a talented singer of Chinese folksongs, particularly adept at utilizing a florid, embellished style of singing. Early in her performance career, she became extremely popular for a time, and subsequently many pieces were dedicated to her, such as "Ye Luo Li" and "A Little Flower." After retiring, she recorded numerous albums, which are filled with countless gorgeous songs that are quite touching.
