林福裕,音樂教育家、作曲家、電視廣告音樂人;1931 年 11 月 19 日出生於臺北木柵,2004 年 6 月 18 日逝世於美國西雅圖。臺北師範學院畢業後投入兒童合唱團教學,師承呂泉生,擔任多個合唱團指揮及指導老師。另也創作廣告歌曲,膾炙人口;晚年創作臺語歌謠,富關懷本土內涵,獲得社會高度評價。曾榮獲社會教育貢獻獎、教育部文藝獎章。
LIN Fu-Yu was a music educator, composer and TV commercial musician. He was born in Taipei's Muzha District on Nov. 19, 1931 and died in Seattle, Washington on Jun. 18, 2004. After graduating from Taipei Teacher's College, he devoted his life to teaching choral music to children. Lin studied with Lu Chuan-sheng. He served as conductor and instructor for several choirs throughout his lifetime. Lin also wrote music for TV commercials, many of which are still quite popular. In his later years, Lin wrote Taiwanese (also known as Hoklo) songs, which were filled with a nativist quality that showed concern for Taiwan and received innumerable accolades. He received the Social Education Contribution Award and the Ministry of Education's Literature and Art Award in music category.
